Jewelry Reviews

Leading jewelry authority, Donald Palmieri, wrote, “Under the direction of master jeweler, Robert Underhill, the Jewelry Designs’ model makers, designers, stone setters, and enamelists borrowed the techniques of Fabergé and Lalique to fashion such pieces as those containing mechanical parts. To speak of the old world master jewelers, like Fabergé, Lalique, and others who pioneered the costly time-consuming methods that have immortalized their works and have virtually vanished in this age of mass-produced jewelry making, is to be refreshed by the spirit and birth of the Treasure’s Trove creatures.”
