Diamond grading allows for a range of characteristics to qualify for a given score on the GIA clarity scale. It is not uncommon for 2 stones with identical grading to have a significant difference in value. A stone having inclusions visible to the naked eye can have the same clarity grade as another diamond which is flawless to the eye, because of the type and location of the flaw.
At Jewelry Designs we are not hunting for certified diamonds that give false impressions to our customers. Instead, we are looking to form a long-term relationship with each of our customers: whether it’s your first time, or you’re a longtime client since we first opened in 1980, you can count on us to select the most attractive diamonds in their class. At Jewelry Designs, we pride ourselves in providing the most competitive diamond pricing available on stones that meet our strict quality standards for diamond cut, diamond color , and diamond clarity . At our Connecticut location, you will be able to view diamonds firsthand in our diamond grading rooms with a consultant who will help you to go beyond the 4c’s to understand diamond pricing and qualify your needs.
