Diamond pricing is subjective. It seems as though every diamond company claims to have the lowest prices. Within the same website you will see many diamond industry leaders post prices with ranges of 15% or more on stones that have identical diamond grades. Is it possible for two white diamonds with an identical diamond clarity grade to be different in value? The answer is yes. Diamond grading allows for a range of characteristics to qualify for a given score on the GIA clarity scale. It is not uncommon for 2 stones with identical grading to have a significant difference in value. A stone having inclusions visible to the naked eye can have the same clarity grade as another diamond which is flawless to the eye, because of the type and location of the flaw.
